“Let us all thank our medical communities for keeping the sickness from spreading like a wildfire. And let’s all pray for everyone’s wellness.”–Hamsa, a recent graduate of Sahasra Deepika, reflects on life during quarantine.”
In all of its states and union territories, the outbreak of COVID-19 has declared an epidemic. To fight COVID-19, the lockdown had imposed on March 25, 2020, had a disturbing effect on the country’s education system. The conventional education system has been transformed into the education technology model (EdTechs), where education and tests are done online.
Even with this pandemic, Sahasra Deepika still wants the best for the girls in Bangalore to have the education that they deserve. To make this happen, certain adjustments should be done to prevent the spread of the virus, and also, for the safety of their students in Sahasra Deepika.
The Coronavirus outbreak gave us a great shock through many deaths and infected patients across the world. Our government made a decision for a 21-day at-home quarantine, so the colleges closed and we all came home. Our lecturers couldn’t stop teaching even in this pandemic. They teach us online and we have classes from 9:00 in the morning until 3:00 clock. I’m also continuously working on my new article “cancer and naturopathy.” Since I’m a yoga student and our daily schedule at Sahasra Deepika included yoga, I teach yoga and meditation to some of my neighbors. And I spend time with my mother and help her with the housework. They say our positive attitude and determination will help us lead a normal and fulfilling life, so let us all pray to the Almighty to help us with the pandemic. Let us all thank our medical communities for keeping the sickness from spreading like a wildfire. And let’s all pray for everyone’s wellness.
