After tutoring 1500 students from 14 government high schools around Bangalore, Sahasra Deepika’s 5th annual Outreach Program came to a close on February 8, 2014 with our Spelling Bee Contest. Shivani GD, a 9th standard student from Honnaganna Hatti High School, emerged victorious after 14 intense rounds of competition. The top 4 winners were given tablet computers from Suphaalam PVT which will certainly help them in their future stuides. Many thanks to Salma Khader, chair of our Outreach Program; Mr. Arif Pasha, who tutored the students at the participating high schools, and all the volunteers who made this event a success.
