Learning has never been tiring, especially for the girls in Bangalore at Sahasra Deepika. It was always a great experience for them to learn something new. And that’s what Sahasra Deepika truly aims for. For quality education and to mold the children to become the future that they want to be.

In March, Sahasra Deepika Institute was honored by the visit of Paige Kimble, the Executive Director of the Scripps National Spelling Bee, and Corrie Loeffler, Director of Editorial Content at Scripps. Paige and Corrie recognized the efforts that Sahasra Deepika has been making through its Outreach Program to bring not only English instruction but confidence and opportunity, to kids in underserved schools. They spent time speaking with the girls not only about the National Spelling Bee, but their love of reading and literature, and their favorite words. Paige and Corrie donated copies of Scripps’ “Feed Me Words,” to our library. It was a truly inspiring and memorable visit.
